Title: Business Advancement Associate
Location: Remote, with a preference for candidates located within the DMV.
Duration: 6 months (40 Hours a Week).
(The Associate Program is 6 months. At the conclusion of the Program, candidates will be considered for a full-time position).
Compensation: $25/hour and healthcare benefits.

Agilian is a full-service strategy, technology, and change management boutique consulting firm. We are dedicated to closing inequitable healthcare gaps for marginalized populations by supporting the Medicaid health equity ecosystem through consulting and technology implementation. This ecosystem comprises state Medicaid agencies, managed care organizations, healthcare providers, community-based organizations, and beneficiaries. By addressing our clients’ operational, systems, and data constraints through consulting and technology assets, we enable them to focus on enhancing health outcomes for vulnerable individuals.
Our Associate Program offers a unique opportunity for socially driven individuals to gain hands-on experience, develop essential skills, and contribute to meaningful results within the health equity ecosystem.
Position Overview:
The mission for this role is to:
Support business advancement, marketing, and related administrative tasks;
Suggest and contribute to company initiatives and proposals; and
Support prospective client relations for Agilian’s consulting business in the Medicaid health equity ecosystem.
During your time with us, you’ll sharpen your business advancement and consulting skills and be considered for a full-time consultant position upon completion of the Program. As an Agilian Associate, you’ll gain the ability to understand the goals and challenges of our clients and our proven methodology to get our clients from the current state to their envisioned future state. This is your chance to gain experience in the health and IT sector while contributing to a mission that's committed to health and social equity.
Responsibilities:
Business Advancement Associates will work on the following types of activities:
Learn about Agilian’s proven methodology and the Medicaid health equity ecosystem to develop marketing materials such as white papers, blog posts, and graphics.
Conduct target market research and competitive analyses.
Support rebranding and marketing efforts (tradeshows, case studies, etc.).
Conduct research and prepare pitch decks for prospective clients.
Support client discussions, information gathering, and analyses, and communicate findings with others.
Work collaboratively in a team environment to discuss and address client issues and challenges.
Develop compelling client solutions and proposals.
Identify and support strategic initiatives that promote process improvement and efficiency enhancements, e.g., sales process, customer relationship management (CRM) system workflow.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Healthcare, Information Technology, or equivalent experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Teams).
